2. Definitions

• "Service" refers to our romantic getaway booking platform and couple travel services
• "Couple," "you," or "your" refers to romantic partners using our services together
• "Romantic Destination" refers to featured resorts and locations for couples
• "Honeymoon Package" refers to curated romantic travel experiences for newlyweds
• "Special Occasion" includes honeymoons, anniversaries, engagements, proposals, and romantic celebrations
• "Romantic Experience" includes couples spa, private dinners, sunset cruises, and other couple activities

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

To book romantic getaways through our service:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• Both partners in a couple booking must meet minimum age requirements
• You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• You must provide accurate information for both travelers
• Some romantic experiences may have additional age or relationship requirements

4. Booking Process for Romantic Getaways

4.1 Reservation Requests

Submitting a romantic getaway inquiry constitutes a booking request, not a confirmed reservation. Our romantic travel specialists will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability and finalize details.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

Your romantic getaway is confirmed when:

• You receive written email confirmation from our team
• Required deposit or full payment has been processed
• Romantic destination availability is verified
• Special romantic arrangements are confirmed with service providers

4.3 Couple Information Accuracy

You must provide accurate information for both partners:

• Full legal names matching government-issued IDs
• Contact information for primary booking contact
• Travel dates and occasion details
• Special requests (dietary needs, allergies, mobility requirements)
• Romantic surprise details (if applicable)

5. Honeymoon Packages and Special Occasions

5.1 Honeymoon Package Inclusions

Our honeymoon packages include specific services as detailed in your booking confirmation:

• Accommodation for specified number of nights
• Meals and dining experiences as indicated in package
• Romantic activities and experiences listed in package description
• Honeymoon amenities (champagne, decorations, etc.)
• Special services such as couples spa or private dinners

5.2 Marriage Certificate Requirements

For honeymoon packages, some resorts may request proof of recent marriage (marriage certificate issued within 6 months) to provide special honeymoon amenities and discounts.

5.3 Anniversary and Proposal Packages

Special occasion packages are customized based on your celebration. We make every effort to ensure romantic surprises remain confidential until the appropriate time.

6. Pricing and Payment for Romantic Travel

6.1 Package Pricing

All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Pricing includes:

• Accommodation as specified in package description
• Romantic experiences listed in package inclusions
• Meals and drinks as indicated (full board, half board, etc.)
• Special amenities and romantic touches

6.2 Additional Costs Not Included

Unless stated as "all-inclusive," prices do not include:

• Flights and travel insurance
• Airport transfers (unless specified in package)
• Government taxes and resort fees
• Gratuities and service charges
• Optional excursions not included in package
• Personal expenses and spa treatments beyond package inclusions
• Special dietary menu upgrades

6.3 Honeymoon Package Payment Terms

• Classic Romance (5 days): 30% deposit, balance 30 days before travel
• Paradise Love (7 days): 40% deposit, balance 30 days before travel
• Ultimate Indulgence (10 days): 50% deposit, balance 45 days before travel
• Peak Season Bookings: Full payment required at confirmation

6.4 Romantic Experience Add-Ons

Additional romantic experiences can be added to any package:

• Private beach dinners: $250-$500
• Couples spa treatments: $150-$400
• Sunset sailing: $200-$350
• Proposal arrangements: $500-$2,000
• Professional photography: $300-$800

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Standard Romantic Getaway Cancellations

• More than 60 days before travel: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• 45-59 days before travel: 50% refund
• 30-44 days before travel: 30% refund
• Less than 30 days before travel: No refund

7.2 Honeymoon Package Cancellations

Due to the specialized nature of honeymoon arrangements:

• More than 90 days: Full refund minus 15% fee
• 60-89 days: 50% refund
• 30-59 days: 25% refund
• Less than 30 days: No refund (deposits and payments forfeited)

7.3 Special Occasion Cancellations

• Proposal Packages: 30-day cancellation notice required for 50% refund
• Anniversary Packages: Standard cancellation policy applies
• Valentine's Day/New Year's Eve: Non-refundable 90 days before event

7.4 Wedding Postponement Policy

If your wedding is postponed and you need to reschedule your honeymoon:

• One free date change allowed with proof of postponed wedding
• New dates subject to availability within 18 months
• Price difference may apply if new dates are in peak season
• Must provide written notice at least 30 days before original travel date

7.5 Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all romantic getaways, especially honeymoons, to protect against unforeseen circumstances including illness, family emergencies, and travel disruptions.

8. Romantic Service Guarantees and Limitations

8.1 Romance Guarantee

We guarantee to provide:

• Romantic accommodations as described in your package
• Confirmed romantic experiences and activities
• Special occasion coordination and surprise arrangements
• Dedicated romantic travel specialist support

8.2 Service Limitations

We cannot guarantee:

• Specific weather conditions during your stay
• Ocean conditions for water-based romantic activities (subject to safety)
• Exact room location or view (we request preferences but cannot guarantee)
• Privacy from other resort guests in public areas
• Success of marriage proposals (though we'll make it magical!)

8.3 Romantic Surprise Confidentiality

For proposal arrangements and romantic surprises, we maintain strict confidentiality. However, we are not liable if surprises are inadvertently revealed due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Modification and Customization

9.1 Package Modifications

Changes to confirmed bookings:

• Date changes: $150 modification fee + any price difference
• Destination changes: Subject to cancellation policy
• Upgrade requests: Price difference + $100 processing fee
• Guest name changes: Free up to 7 days before travel

9.2 Custom Romantic Packages

We offer custom package design for unique romantic requirements. Custom packages require 60 days advance booking and may have different cancellation terms.

10. Guest Conduct and Resort Policies

10.1 Romantic Resort Etiquette

Guests are expected to:

• Respect other couples' privacy and romantic moments
• Follow resort dress codes (especially for romantic dinners)
• Arrive on time for scheduled romantic experiences
• Treat resort staff with courtesy and respect
• Comply with resort policies and local laws

10.2 Check-in Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID for both partners
• Passport for international travelers
• Marriage certificate (if claiming honeymoon benefits)
• Credit card for incidental expenses

10.3 Age-Appropriate Conduct

While we celebrate romance, public displays of affection should remain tasteful and appropriate for a family-friendly resort environment. Resorts reserve the right to address inappropriate behavior.

11. Photography and Social Media

11.1 Professional Photography Services

For couples booking photography sessions:

• Session times and locations subject to resort approval
• Photo delivery typically within 7-14 days
• High-resolution images provided via digital download
• Copyright and usage rights defined in photography agreement

11.2 Marketing Use of Photos

We may request permission to use your romantic photos for marketing purposes. This is entirely optional, and we will never use couple photos without explicit written consent.

11.3 Social Media Sharing

You are welcome to share your romantic getaway experiences on social media. We appreciate tags and mentions (@PhilippinesRomantic) but this is not required.

12. Health, Safety, and Special Needs

12.1 Health Requirements

Guests must:

• Disclose any medical conditions requiring special accommodation
• Inform us of allergies (especially for romantic dinners and spa treatments)
• Carry necessary medications and prescriptions
• Have appropriate travel insurance covering medical emergencies

12.2 Pregnancy Considerations

For expecting couples (babymoon travelers):

• Some spa treatments may not be suitable for pregnant women
• Water activities may be restricted depending on pregnancy stage
• Medical clearance may be required for travel
• Inform us of pregnancy status when booking for appropriate accommodations

12.3 Accessibility Services

We work with resorts to accommodate couples with special needs. Please inform us of any mobility, hearing, or visual impairments when booking so we can ensure appropriate facilities.

13. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for your romantic package.

We are not liable for:

• Flight delays, cancellations, or lost luggage
• Weather conditions affecting romantic plans
• Personal disagreements or relationship issues during travel
• Lost or stolen personal items
• Illness or injury (except where caused by our gross negligence)
• Service quality issues at third-party resorts
• Unsuccessful marriage proposals (though we'll do our best!)

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

14.2 Resolution Process

1. Direct Resolution: Contact our romantic travel specialists first
2. Mediation: Good-faith mediation attempt if direct resolution fails
3. Arbitration: Binding arbitration in Manila, Philippines

14.3 Complaint Handling

If you experience issues during your romantic getaway, please notify us immediately so we can attempt to resolve them during your stay.

15. Special Romantic Services Terms

15.1 Proposal Coordination

For engagement proposal arrangements:

• All details must be confirmed at least 14 days in advance
• Proposals subject to weather and resort availability
• Backup plans will be arranged for outdoor proposals
• Photography packages recommended for capturing the moment
• We cannot guarantee the outcome of the proposal

15.2 Vow Renewal Services

Vow renewal ceremonies can be arranged as add-on services. These are symbolic ceremonies and do not constitute legal marriage ceremonies.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control including:

• Natural disasters (typhoons, earthquakes, floods)
• Pandemic-related travel restrictions
• Government actions or political unrest
• Resort closures or emergencies
• Acts of terrorism or war

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide resort credits for future travel.

17. Intellectual Property

All website content, romantic package descriptions, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

18. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We protect your romantic booking details and surprise arrangements with strict confidentiality.

19. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website with an updated "Last Modified" date.
